Baked Goods

This is a further experiment in the home made bread laboratory, Muesli whole wheat flax and bran bread. The basic whole wheat recipe was augmented with about four ounces of "Bob's Red Mill Old Country style Muesli" with an ounce of self ground flax and two tablespoons of bran.

Wiggly Pole

Simple, walk out twenty feet and grab the flag, only one contestant (volunteers from the crowd) managed to beat the wiggly pole.

Tea and a slice.

After all the unscheduled excitement, the logger sports continued with log burling, axe throwing, sawing through logs and of course the wiggly pole. Here the gumboots are on for a preliminary burling competition :

Careful with that Axe Eugene...

The logger sports were delayed when one of the contestants took an axe in the ankle, it glanced off the fixed log and went into his boot, this was the start of what was probably a very interesting day for the chap, apparently it was very serious and a medivac chopper was called.
