Gray Jay

Whistler Mountain was closed but Blackcomb Mountain was open until May the 30th, so we took advantage of the bargain sight seeing pass ($23) and went up on the Gondola and the Ski lift. There was intense activity with people on skis and snowboards, we had our good boots on and made our way to the lodge for a beer or two. This is the second encounter we had that day with a Gray Jay.

This guy was about two feet away from our table.
