We arrived at the ferry terminal area and wondered what the buzzing noise was, it turned out that thirty or more hummingbirds were feeding, like a busy airport, the feeders were constantly in the flight pattern.
We stood, a few feet away and watched, amazed, as they all came, three to five at a time, to guzzle some sugar water.

Karen and Dave live in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. This is a journal of their retired life and what's generally going on. It's also an opportunity to post great photographs of the critters and plants that they see on a daily basis.
