The Fraser Blues

The Fraser Blues delivered fifteen minutes of some of the best aviation formation flying that general aviation pilots (civilians) can offer, a great display over Gibsons Harbour to a good crowd at the grandstand erected on the Government Wharf.

Sea Cavalcade

The tradition of blowing up an old wooden boat and frightening all the marine life (including a lot of the residents) continues at the start of this years Sea Cavalcade.

Yard Work phase 35/1000

We had another three yards of bark mulch delivered and finally finished off the trail at the left side of the house, lots of weeding that will now be less. I suspect that work on the right side of the house is about to begin...

Low Flying Dinosaur

As we walked down to Marine drive a large Blue Heron flew right over our heads, a common sight but something we never take for granted, today my camera was ready and I was quick enough, they keep us on our toes you know.

Daily Visitors

There have been more deer this year, this young lady was over the road on the vacant land. Karen informed me that a three pointer strolled through the back yard yesterday looking all majestic, of course it dodged any photo opportunity.

I came over all poet like walking along the beach in Whitby Bay:

Buckets and spades
Memories to be made
Life in a balance
With no one to save

It harks back to a time when we were young, when adult worries and the world's problems had not crept in and innocence abounded, a time of rock pools, sandcastles and plastic sandals.
