Deforestation

The second lot across the street has been sold and there have been men with trucks looking at it this morning. This can mean only one thing, there will be the sound of chainsaws in our immediate future.

There are two building lots there, the first is owned by our neighbour, Bruce, who bought it so that no-one would build on it. The second lot, with the trees, was sold about two months ago and we suspect that building permits are being applied for, it will be a shame to lose trees, but inevitable.
