Washing the car

I was cleaning the car in the driveway and a pair of blue herons arrived in the trees at the back of the house, one landed right at the peak and sat there, flapping it's wings long enough for me to grab the camera.

The camera was still in my hands three minutes later when a bald eagle landed in the same tree and stole a crow hatchling, of course, things like that happen in seconds as the camera remained inoperative as it's operator just gawked.
